As you are aware, our Delivery Team had you sign a waiver prior to moving your new furniture to the second floor, due to the possibility of causing damage to your home or the furniture. You were notified that this was a possibility due to the size and weight of the furniture and pathway to its desired destination.
Our team did the right thing by having you sign the waiver prior to moving the dresser, which fully informed you of the possibility of damage. By signing the waiver you acknowledged that damages could occur, and that you were not going to hold our company liable for those damages if they did occur. I’m unclear as to why you believe our company is liable for the damages that we clearly informed you could occur by moving said piece of furniture.
